PORTFOLIO
Andrea here was the perfect subject. Her facial expression helped form the best mood by this double exposure. The lighting was up to the right of Andreas face. This contradicts the background aspect with the sun coming from the opposite side. The texture helps to create the best mood of the photo. There is a lot going on but it brings up the idea that Andrea is looking off to something that means a lot more.

In this photograph of Ben, there is a unique use of repetition through double exposure. By overlaying a picture what was taken at a very slow shutter speed I was able to capture the movement of his hands on his face as well as him moving to “look at himself”. Using the rule of thirds allowed for the picture to be spaced out evenly leaving the white space in the background to be filled with the overlaying image. This photo has a sense of an uncanny ability. He’s almost ghost like.

When taking this photo I used a fast shutter speed allowing me to catch the drops as they slid down the container. It was taken at an angle allowing me to get the foreground in focus as well as giving to a large depth of field. It was on a cloudy ISO giving to a sharp image with multiple shades.
